Stars appear in music video to raise money for Dogs TrustActors John Barrowman, Billy Boyd and Paul Riley all star in a music video for ‘The One’, a charity single released by Scottish vocal group The Swingcats in aid of Dogs Trust.

Inspired by The Swingcats’ lead singer’s dog, Angus, ‘The One’ has been released to raise money for the dog charity.

Alyson Orr set out to write a song to express the love and affection owners can find when they take on an abandoned or homeless dog. Orr explained: “I was determined to try to express the happiness I found by rehoming Angus. He was my special friend; he changed my life and I know I changed his.

“There are so many dogs that need loving new homes – often after they have suffered cruelty or neglect. I lost Angus a few weeks ago and the video is dedicated to him. I’m so touched that stars such as John and Billy agreed to appear alongside The Swingcats for this great cause.”
