Renowned dog groomer opens training school in LondonAward-winning dog groomer Colin Taylor has opened his own dog grooming training school in London.

The Colin Taylor Academy operates from the premises of salon and pet boutique, Just Barking in Kensal Rise, London.

Training at the Academy is designed for both beginners looking to achieve a nationally-recognised City & Guilds Qualification and advanced groomers in need of training ahead of an exam or competition.

Colin Taylor remarked: “My training is also ideal for anybody with an established salon who needs to refresh their skills and re-invigorate their grooming business.

“It’s fair to say that dog owners are more aware these days about the benefits to their dog’s health and wellness if groomed regularly, [so] what does that mean for a groomer? In terms of choosing the right shampoos or a dryer or managing bookings or staff or customer relationships, even experienced groomers need to work smarter.”

One-time winner of the World Cup Grooming Games, Taylor has also been previously crowned as the Intergroom International Groomer of the Year.
