Pet Retailers were last month invited to enter a competition with the chance of becoming awards judges at the PATS show. The panel of judges, who will decide upon the winners of PATS Harrogate’s New Product Awards, has now been decided upon. The judges now have eight weeks, or so, to deliberate the entries before they announce the winner at lunchtime on the first day of the show.
PATS Harrogate’s Discovery Point is an area of the show designed specifically to assist new companies, or those that are exhibiting new or specialist limited edition ranges, to launch their profiles in the pet trade.
Recently-launched Moorlands Pet Foods will unveil its new complete pet food for dogs that comes with an intriguingly transparent angle. Moorlands’ packs contain full details about all the food’s ingredients and their exact quantities, as well as unambiguous and instructive information about the benefits of using this particular dog food.
One of Moorlands’ founders, Simon Le Jeune said: “We want to create awareness of our newly-launched, innovative food and there are obviously a variety of media we can use to reach consumers and trade. As far as the trade is concerned we believe that the most effective communications strategy is the old fashioned face-to-face method.
Entry to PATS Harrogate is free and visitors can register to attend via www.patshow.co.uk
