SChipping on the busince June, a big purple bus has been winding its way around the UK on a crusade for microchipping.

Micro-ID and the Pet Care Trade Association (PTCA) is using ‘Big Bertha’ – run by Onswitch, the veterinary nurse training company – to train dog and cat breeders and those in the pet retail trade how to implant a chip using the latest mini-microchip technology. The bus started at Plymouth on the 6 June and is continuing its way across the country, running evening microchipping classes three days a week.
