Specialist pet retailer, Just for Pets, has announced plans to open a 4,500 sq ft store in East Bridgford near Nottingham, as part of the company’s expansion strategy which was revealed in July.
As part of its expansion drive, Just for Pets has confirmed it is looking to secure a further six stores over the next twelve months, ideally in locations bounded by Derby to the north, Bristol and Bath to the south and Hereford to Milton Keynes.
Stuart Williams, partner at Carter Jonas who is helping Just for Pets with its store expansion said: “It is a privilege to be working with this successful and expanding family business. Its team firmly believes in building strong relationships with its customers, the community, and their landlords.
“They are passionate about pets and providing households with a great in-store experience relaying knowledge and advice from their experienced in-house experts.”
He added: “We are considering space left by the raft of business upheaval seen in recent months and welcome conversations with landlords with potential voids in their portfolios.
“Whilst several deals are in negotiation, twenty towns remain on our target list including Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham, Oxford, Stroud, Redditch and Witney amongst others. Regarded as an essential retailer under current pandemic guidelines, Just for Pets would be a welcome addition to any retail scheme.”
