PetQuip has unveiled its new measures of support for British exhibitors who were due to promote their businesses at Interzoo, which has now been rescheduled for next year.

In its latest update, PetQuip announced it has also started planning procedures for the rescheduled Interzoo, which will now take place in Nuremberg, Germany between 1 June and 4 June 2021.

The international pet trade exhibition was due to take place between 19 May and 22 May this year, but was postponed in light of the escalating pandemic.

Following the confirmation of the new date, PetQuip has invited participating companies to prepare their plans for the show. It noted that eligible SMEs taking part can utilise grants from the Department for International Trade to help offset the cost of a stand.

PetQuip has put in a request for grants to be made available for the new show dates and it is hoped that at least £1,000 per eligible exhibitor will be available.

In addition, the group has put together a package of additional publicity to ensure its UK group of Interzoo 2020 brands and product introductions are promoted to buyers through key international media.
