The Dogs Trust has announced it is appealing for volunteers ahead of the grand opening of a new Dogs Trust charity shop.

The Poole shop, which is set to have its grand opening on 20 February Dogs, will need volunteers to aid with the day-to-day running of the business.

The charity said that individuals are needed to help in “all aspects” of running the shop, including taking in stock donations, serving customers and providing “great customer service” to all customers.

All funds raised through the sale of items in the shop go towards caring for dogs in the Dogs Trust care while they await a new home.

Debbie Cheeseman, Dogs Trust charity shop area manager, said:  “Dogs Trust charity shops up and down the country simply wouldn’t be able to run without the dedication of volunteers – and our Poole shop will be no different.

“Whether you can spare an hour or a day, please get in touch and let us know if you can help.”
