Premium dog food provider Years.com has launched a limited-edition Valentine’s Day Selection Box, targeting a growing market for high-end pet gifting.
The launch follows market research conducted by the company in 2025, which identified the Cockapoo as the UK’s most “culinary-indulged” breed.
According to the data, Cockapoo owners spend an average of £1,207 annually on premium meals, 34% more than the national average and 17% more than Labrador owners, who spend an average of £1,011 per year.
The selection box features six items, including a 430g portion of “Lady and the Tramp” inspired buffalo meatballs served with slow-cooked red pepper and pork ragù over egg yolk tagliatelle.
The dish is part of the brand’s “Chef’s Collection” and is marketed as a nutritionally complete meal.
Additional items in the hamper include a Blush and Bark Rosé Wine, which is a botanical, alcohol-free blend designed for canine consumption; an edible Valentine’s card in collaboration with Scoff; coconut and venison macarons made with apricot and beetroot filling and heart-shaped duck and strawberry soft bakes and microwaveable Himalayan milk “pupcorn”.
Darren Beale, chief executive officer of Years.com, said: “Valentine’s Day is about celebrating the relationships that matter most. For so many of us, that includes our dogs. With the Valentine’s Selection, we wanted to create something not only delicious but thoughtful as well. We wanted to give owners a special moment to share with their dog.”
The hamper is priced at £35 for general sale and £29 for existing subscribers.
