Inspired Pet Nutrition has opened a new head office and distribution centre in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, following a £6m investment aimed at supporting the company’s operational growth.

The development brings together administrative functions and logistics at a single site.

The new head office has been designed to accommodate hybrid working and collaborative spaces, with the company describing the facility as part of efforts to modernise its workplace environment.

The building includes flexible working areas and amenities for staff. Additionally, the distribution centre, which the company said is among the “largest” of its type in the UK pet food sector, is intended to increase storage capacity and strengthen supply chain resilience.

The site will support distribution to customers across the UK and mainland Europe.

Inspired Pet Nutrition has expanded in recent years through product launches and acquisitions, growing from a UK-focused manufacturer into a larger independent pet food business operating across European markets.

The company said the new facilities form part of its long-term investment strategy.
