Dorwest Herbs has introduced a range of slow-cooked bone broths for dogs and cats, including a limited-edition festive venison flavour available until the end of December.
The launch marks an expansion for the Dorset-based business, which has produced herbal pet supplements for more than 75 years.
The new broths, available in beef, chicken and venison, are made from high-welfare bones and are positioned as a simple addition to meals or as a light drink for pets recovering from illness. Dorwest said the products contain protein, collagen, minerals and amino acids, and are intended to support digestion and joint health.

The broths are slow cooked with apple cider vinegar to extract nutrients and contain only three ingredients, according to the company. They are free from additives, antibiotics and artificial hormones, and can be served warm, cold or frozen.
The company noted that bone broth has long been used by consumers seeking gut and joint support and is increasingly being adopted in pet diets for similar reasons. The beef and venison broths are available online, with chicken to follow.
Jo Boughton-White, managing director at Dorwest, said: “Our new bone broth range has been designed with experts to best suit the needs of our customers and their dogs, while maintaining Dorwest’s trusted quality. Our limited-edition Festive Venison also makes a perfect Christmas gift for any pet this winter season.”
