If your organisation is improving lives through the power of the pet-human bond, this is your chance to grow your impact and become part of a powerful movement. Applications for the 2025 Purina BetterWithPets Prize close on 12th September, and entering is quick and easy.
Purina is offering organisations across the UK the chance to win a share of a two-year grant worth £170,0001. Whether you’re working with assistance dogs, delivering animal-assisted therapies, or running programmes that bring companionship to older people, this funding could help you grow your reach and impact.
Since its launch in 2018, the Prize has already supported initiatives across the country such as StreetVet, Pets As Therapy and Medical Detection Dogs. Each has used the Prize to expand services, train more volunteers, or pioneer innovative approaches to healthcare and wellbeing. Their success stories show what’s possible when passion for pets is matched with the right support.
The Purina BetterWithPets Prize offers more than funding alone. Winners also become part of the BetterWithPets community – a network of partners, peers, and experts across Europe working together to share knowledge and develop best practices. Alongside Purina, they gain tools and guidance to help scale their operations sustainably.
This initiative is a key part of Purina’s pledge to improve the health and wellbeing of one million vulnerable people by 2030 through the pet-human bond.
If your organisation is helping people thrive through the power of pets, don’t miss the opportunity.
