Orvis UK presented a cheque for £2,146 to Pets as Therapy (PAT) at the charity’s headquarters which was raised with the help of the dog bed manufacturer’s customers.

Adrian Woolford, managing director of Orvis UK presented the donation to Deborah Dow, chief executive of Pets as Therapy, which was raised from October to December. Across Orvis UK’s 18 stores, customers were asked to donate £1 to PAT.

PAT was founded in 1983 and provides therapeutic pet visits to hospitals, hospices, nursing and care homes.

A spokesperson for Orvis said: “In 2019 Orvis are proud to continue supporting PATs and one of the ways we are doing that is to continue with the pound for PATs initiative across the stores.”
