Pawable has announced that it has released an update to its collagen for dogs product.

The product already contained five different types of hydrolysed collagen types and now includes undenatured type II collagen (UC-II) too.

Undenatured collagen works differently to hydrolysed collagen and studies have shown that UC-II activates immune cells which signal the body to rebuild and repair joint cartilage.

Neil Durrant, Pawable founder, said: “We are really proud of this development. The undenatured collagen works in perfect harmony with our hydrolysed collagen which provides the nutritional building blocks to support collagen production.

“We have had so much amazing feedback from owners of dogs who are thriving on Pawable collagen, and this latest cycle of our continuous improvement is another step forward in helping more dogs enjoy greater comfort and mobility.”

Pawable costs £29.99 for a 225g pack (lasts a small dog 90 days) and is available from the company’s website.
