CVS’ Ayres Vets has announced that it has relocated to a new purpose-built practice in Newcastle Quays, North Shields.

The new facility is 6000 square feet and has had £2m spent on it to modernise, upgrade and extend it.

The new property will enable the practice to expand the range of clinical services it offers to pets in the locality.

The new modern building is all on one level and will house upgraded client and patient facilities, along with the latest veterinary equipment.

Five consulting rooms are housed in the site, along with two spacious operating theatres.

A new CT scanner has been installed to allow more precise views of bones and internal organs.

In addition, the new Ayres Vets practice has a spacious reception with separate waiting areas for cats and dogs.

To staff the practice, five vets will collectively offer an increased range of veterinary services.

Seven veterinary nurses, eight clinical support staff and eight receptionists are part of the 31 strong team.
