Nutravet makes products available to purchase online

The new website has a new ‘find a stockist’ function for pet owners to identify their closest stockists across the UK and Ireland

Nutravet has announced that a number of products have been made available to purchase directly via its website where pet owners can buy its Vet Recommended supplements.

A new sub-brand, VetSelect, has also been launched that highlights those products that remain available exclusively to authorised veterinary practices.

The announcement follows feedback from some pet owners who cited challenges and barriers in trying to buy certain products from the ranges.

Nutravet said the new opportunity to purchase via its website aims to tackle this and improve the customer buying journey and service for pet owners.

The new website has been designed to “simplify” the process, and it offers pet owner focused information and advice such as articles, advice and frequently asked questions about the products, alongside the purchase products.

Whilst a number of Nutravet products will now be available to purchase directly, they can still be bought over the counter at authorised veterinary practices.

Chris Jones, director of Nutravet, said: “The feedback regarding the effectiveness and the quality of the Nutravet range continues to be incredibly positive. However, we recognise the barriers some pet owners are facing when looking to purchase, along with changes to pet owners buying behaviour.

“To overcome some of these challenges we want to improve the customer buyer journey by offering some of the Nutravet online. We’re very excited about these changes and believe that both our customers and stockists will benefit from greater brand awareness.”
