Independent British pet food manufacturer Scrumbles has been awarded Ethical Accreditation membership.

Scrumbles produces food for cats and dogs and aims to ensure its food is nutritious and delicious. All of its recipes are carefully tailored to breed size, life stage and contain up to 77 percent chicken.

The company avoids artificial preservatives, colours or flavours as well as added salt, sugar and pea protein.

Catering to sensitive tummies, Scrumbles is gluten free, has added probiotics and is naturally hypoallergenic. Scrumbles also tries to do good by giving 10 percent of profits to animal charities like Born Free which helps to  guarantee adventures for future families.

Aneisha Soobroyen, co-founder, said: “We’ve always believed in the power of business to drive positive change. We’re really proud of this accreditation. It’s been a two year journey to develop Scrumbles and make sure that we’re doing things right by cats and dogs and true to our values in providing yummy, good food that doesn’t cost the earth.

“We’re excited for the adventure and hope to improve and grow along the way to help guarantee adventures for many generations to come.”
