Hill’s Pet Nutrition has donated 100,000 meals to animal shelters and pets in need, through its #MissionForeverFriend campaign.

To help achieve the donation goal, Hill’s asked people to share a photo of their pet using #MissionForeverFriend on Instagram and Facebook to trigger a donation to one of 257 participating partner shelters across Europe.

The campaign is an extension of the brand’s “commitment” to helping shelter pets. Through the Hill’s ‘Food, Shelter and Love’ programme, more than 11 million shelter pets have been able to find permanent homes.

Michael Unsworth, Vet Affairs Manager for Hill’s Pet Nutrition, UK said: “We’re thrilled by the excitement and engagement around the first #MissionForeverFriend programme, and feel that it demonstrates the true passion and love for pets held in all our hearts.

“Hill’s is committed to our ongoing efforts to support shelters through providing quality nutrition so we can help transform the lives of all pets and ensure they find the loving and lasting homes they deserve.”
