Corporate food delivery platform City Pantry has launched a series of ‘Kitty Pantry’ and ‘Poochie Packages’ for pets.

The group announced it has partnered with KatKin and Nibble and Nosh to produce the two exclusive reward boxes.

The ‘Kitty Pantry’ box features “human-grade” food for cats that is produced by KatKin. The package can be personalised, producing meals based on the cat’s age, weight, and activity level.

In addition, Nibble and Nosh has helped create the ‘Poochie Packages’ box, which features treats and toys every month. Each box contains high-quality treats that are 100% natural, low calorie and wheat-free, and comes in three sizes of treat boxes.

It comes as new research by City Pantry, in partnership with YouGov, revealed that three quarters (75%) of pet owners believe their pets helped their mental health throughout the multiple lockdowns of the past year.

Over the last 12 months, nearly half of cat and dog owners (45%) have “treated their four-legged friends more than usual while at home”, according to the YouGov survey.

Some of the most popular ways of treating pets was giving them longer walks (46%), giving them more treats (53%), buying them new toys (47%) and spending more time playing with them (60%).
