Nylon chew brand TastyBone’s CEO, Tony Raeburn, enjoyed a visit to Buckingham Palace to meet the Queen, Prince Philip and other members of the royal family as part of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise celebrations.

The Blackburn-based company was among more than 150 to be recognised for its contribution to business in the UK, having exported its range of nylon ‘TastyBones’ to 29 countries around the world.

Tony Raeburn, CEO of Pet’s Choice parent company to the TastyBone brand, said of the visit: “After a long conversation with the Queen, she seemed genuinely interested in our achievements here at TastyBone.

“It was a fantastic day, the award reflects the hard work of all our staff and I am arranging for samples of our TastyBone products to be sent for the corgis to enjoy’’.

This year’s winners were announced earlier this year on the Queen’s 91st birthday.
