A man was caught by police with a parrot perched on his steering wheel whilst driving down the M20.
Kent Police tweeted to say: “Today we issued a driver in his 20s with a traffic offence report for driving on the M20 J6-5 with a parrot perched on his steering wheel.”
They then confirmed the driver was taking the parrot back to its owner and it was not dead.
After numerous twitter comments they responded by tweeting “Don’t tweet or squawk at the wheel #stillcantbelievewecaughtaguywithaparrotonthewheel #hewasntevendressedasapirate ”
The driver was issued with a traffic offence report for ‘not being in proper control of a vehicle’.
