Mars Petcare has announced the launch of meaty casseroles by the cat food brand, Whiskas\u00ae. \r\n\r\nThe Whiskas\u00ae Casserole range is complete and balanced with meaty chunks to provide a new Whiskas\u00ae texture sensation. \r\n\r\nThe new range of casseroles is available from January 2017 at an RRP of \u00a34.50. It is served in single-serve pouches of twelve in best-selling flavours including poultry, fish and fish & meaty selections.\r\n\r\nAlso in 2017, a bulk pack including 40 individual\u00a0Whiskas\u00ae Casseroles\u00a0pouches will be available in store. Over the last 12 months, Whiskas\u00ae has begun featuring award winning life-stage messaging on pack.\r\n\r\nGina Head, Whiskas\u00ae senior brand manager, said: \u201cOur latest innovation, Whiskas\u00ae Casseroles, with its meaty texture, looks just like the casseroles we love, as well as being complete & balanced to keep cats happy and healthy. It is sure to drive value growth for the cat category.\u201d\r\n\r\nThe launch is being supported by a \u00a310m media spend. A brand-new Whiskas\u00ae TV advert, set to hit TV screens in February 2017, as well as YouTube advertising and social media activity. Whiskas\u00ae will also be launching a huge sampling campaign, in addition to platinum in-store activations and POS to drive shoppers to the pet food aisle.\r\n\r\nFrom the January 9, Whiskas\u00ae will give pet owners the chance to win one of 100 premium casserole dishes when they try the new product and review it online.
