Veterinary advice on new strain of Rabbit Viral Haemorrhagic Disease

A new strain of Rabbit Viral Haemorrhagic Disease has been identified in rabbits in the UK. The British Veterinary Association (BVA), British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) and British Veterinary Zoological Society (BVZS) are issuing the following advice for practices who may not be familiar with the recent developments of this disease:

Rabbit Viral Haemorrhagic Disease variant (RVHD2) is a variation of the already recognised Rabbit Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (RVHD1).
