The Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association (PFMA) has updated its website to ensure an optimal experience for the users of mobile devices. Around 30 percent of the PFMA’s  visitors currently access pfma.org.uk from a phone or tablet.

In addition to a ‘Pet Care’ section providing detailed information on all pet types (dogs and cats to birds, fish and other small animals), the website has a number of sections which users will now find easier to access ‘on the go’.

Updated areas include a ‘toolkit’ with weight management support, new fact sheets, statistics and information on labelling, ingredients and legislation.

Nicole Paley, communications manager for PFMA, commented on launch: “Whether you are a vet nurse looking for a food diary for your weight management clinic or a pet retailer hoping to advise a customer on labelling, the answers are now at your finger tips at pfma.org.uk.

“We hope that users find the mobile site easy to navigate and find answers to all their nutrition themed queries.”
