Here’s a seasonal story story to warm the cockles of your heart, which also shows just how much we count dog’s as part of the family here in the UK and that includes the family’s festivities too.

Claire’s Comfy Canines, Doggy Day Care, Spa and Shop based in Burnham, Berkshire, held a free Christmas Party for Dogs, on 6th December, complete with a doogy Santa’s Grotto, Doggy Fancy Dress, and mulled wine and mince pies for the dedicated owners.

The event was held to raise money for The Animal Sanctuary UK, who are based in Dorney, Berkshire and Claire’s event raised over £140, plus collected donations in the form of bedding/treats and food, as well as donating the 19 straw bales that were used during the event.

There was even a furry fancy dress, where dressed as Christmas Crackers, Angels, Santa and lots of Christmas Jumpers. The lucky winner won a full spa package, including a Paws and Pamper treatment, in Claire’s doggy spa.

The event showed just how much we love our furry friends with over 80-100 dogs of all shapes and sizes in attendance.
