Dogs Trust calls for award nominationsDogs Trust has called upon dog-lovers across the UK to nominate their “hairy heroes” for its sixth annual Dogs Trust Honours awards ceremony this summer.

The Dogs Trust Honours aims to celebrate the difference dogs make to people’s lives at an awards ceremony recognising heart-warming stories of devotion and courage.

“Dogs Trust Honours is now in its sixth year and we continue to be amazed by tales of courageous canines, devoted dogs and furry fabulousness! The awards ceremony reminds us why the faithful hound has earned the much deserved title of man’s best friend,” said Dogs Trust CEO Clarissa Baldwin.

“We are urging dog lovers to nominate their marvellous mutts and help us celebrate the very special relationship between man and dog.”

Winners will be chosen by a panel of celebrity dog-lovers and will be awarded at the Dogs Trust Honours ceremony in July.

To nominate visit www.dogstrusthonours.co.uk or email awards@dogstrust.org.uk

Additionally, nominations can be sent by post to Dogs Trust Honours, 17 Wakley Street, London, EC1V 7RQ. Closing date for nominations is 3 May 2013.
