Award-winning dog groomer Colin Taylor will launch his first book at the forthcoming Crufts event.

Titled What Would Colin Do? 101 Situations and Solutions for every dog groomer, Taylor describes situations that any groomer might encounter throughout their career, be it in the salon or competing.

“A dog’s health, safety and well-being are always my first priority [and this] underscores my approach with the book,” said Taylor.

Taylor, a co-founder of Master Groom, competed actively for 25 years. His achievements include winning the Oster Invitational Tournament of Champions, the Dog Grooming Olympics, and the World Cup Grooming Games. In October 2012 Taylor also opened his own dog grooming training school in London.

Owner of the Canine Design Academy of Grooming Lesley Garrett said of the book: “I am sure What Would Colin Do? will become an invaluable asset for groomers from all walks of life.

“It is easy to read, entertaining and informative.”
