LitPet has launched a new Shine and Coat variety and updated packaging for its Meaty Mix supplement range.

The new product, a functional paste for cats and dogs, has been named a finalist for the 2026 Pet Industry Federation Innovation Award.

The Meaty Mix series consists of five grain-free supplements developed by veterinarians. Each variety combines traditional Chinese medicine herbs with natural ingredients to address specific health concerns, including joint care, digestion, anxiety, and urinary health.

The products are manufactured in the UK and sold in packs of 10 sticks for £12.00. The new Shine and Coat variety features a chicken and salmon flavour and contains Epax fish oil to support skin health and coat condition.

Other varieties in the range include Bone Boost and Joint Care, which contain eggshell and type II collagen, and Digest Well, formulated with reishi mushroom and goat milk.

Pawsitive Calm utilises L-theanine and bovine colostrum to manage anxiety, while Urinary Guard features cranberry extract and ginkgo leaf.

Stephen Hu, director at LitPet, said: “Meaty Mix sticks allow customers to introduce our traditional Chinese medicine herbal supplements to their pets in an affordable and treat format. With the addition of Meaty Mix, we are now able to offer customers a selection of options to fit any size of pet and budget.”
