Pet food maker The Innocent Cat has launched its new Gravlax Festive Bites for cats ahead of the Christmas season.

The treats, inspired by traditional Scandinavian gravlax recipes, are made with 60% sustainably sourced salmon and dill.

They are grain-free and hypoallergenic, designed as a seasonal addition to the brand’s range of air-dried products.

The Gravlax Bites are available in 70g packs with a recommended retail price of £5.50. Retailers can order in cases of 10 ahead of peak festive trading.

The new line joins The Innocent Hound’s Christmas range for dogs, which includes turkey treats, a Christmas dinner, treat box and bauble.

The Innocent Cat is part of The Innocent Pet Care Company, founded in 2013 by Chloe and Justin Heaton.

The business produces handcrafted air-dried treats and complete foods for dogs and cats at its Yorkshire facility, using British meats and sustainably sourced fish.

Its air-drying process preserves nutrients without high heat, producing foods that are shelf-stable and require no refrigeration.

Chloe Heaton, director of The Innocent Cat, said: “We’re excited to launch our Festive Gravlax Bites for the first time this Christmas. They bring cats a taste of the festive season with flavours they truly love, while offering retailers a unique product that stands out on shelf.”
