Lily’s Kitchen has overhauled its wet cat food range with new recipes, pack sizes and packaging. The changes include four textures – Smooth Paté, Tasty Cuts in Gravy, Shredded in Broth and a new Shredded in Jelly option – aimed at catering for different life stages from kitten to mature cats.
The company said the updated products are complete and balanced, made with natural ingredients including meat, offal and fish.
The range now includes Smooth Paté, with a soft texture for easy eating; Tasty Cuts in Gravy, featuring meat pieces in gravy; Shredded in Broth, with meat shreds and flakes in broth; and Shredded in Jelly, containing meat shreds and flakes in jelly.
Additionally, pack sizes have been expanded in response to customer demand. New four-packs offer a trial option in grocery stores, while 32-packs target bulk buyers, particularly online and in pet specialist outlets.
The new-look range is available in Sainsbury’s and Tesco, and is available on the Lily’s Kitchen website in August.
It will also roll out to Pets at Home, Amazon, Waitrose and other retailers in the coming months.
Charlotte Henderson, head of marketing at Lily’s Kitchen, said: “We know how tricky it can sometimes be to please cats when it comes to food. Our new and improved menu takes proper food for cats to a whole new level, with quality natural ingredients, freshly prepared meat, offal and fish, and a variety of texture options to keep cats interested.”
