Pet food manufacturer Landguth has announced three new developments aimed at boosting its sustainability and expanding its product range.

The Germany-based company, which produces super premium private label wet pet food, has switched to using only renewable electricity.

The move will keep its operations CO2-neutral until at least the end of 2027.

Landguth is also entering the fresh frozen pet food category with a new product range, aimed at meeting growing consumer demand for high-quality options.

The company said the launch would allow it to maintain its nutritional standards while offering more variety to customers.

Additionally, in a further step toward environmental goals, Landguth is rolling out fully recyclable pouches across its packaging portfolio. The firm said the updated materials would not compromise on design or functionality.

The developments form part of a wider strategy to lead in sustainable private label manufacturing and deliver new solutions in pet nutrition.

Gillian Thomas-Jones, UK sales manager, said: “It is an exciting time for Landguth and to be part of this team. This demonstrates again how we continue to invest for our customers to bring innovation. Landguth is Europe’s number one for manufacturing super premium private label wet pet food, and I am excited to bring our signature look and quality to the fresh frozen category.”
