Private member club for dogs WagWorks has announced that it is set to open a new venue in Islington this autumn.

The 8,000 sq ft club is situated in Islington Square in an old postal sorting office and comes off the back of the company’s success in Fulham

WagWorks Islington will feature spacious temperature-controlled indoor playparks, dedicated enrichment zones, cosy stables for peaceful rest, a puppy socialisation area, a state-of-the-art grooming studio and a welcoming healthcare room.

The company provides a structured day care programme that promotes socialisation, enrichment and rest to keep dogs happy, fulfilled and balanced. Dogs are grouped based on energy levels and personality into distinct parks.

Furthermore, on site training services are available and led by in-house behaviourist Winkie Spiers.

Speirs has over 20 years’ experience in canine training and education and offers 1:1 training sessions tailored to the individual dog, as well as Puppy Classes and group workshops on specific activities or breed-specific learning.

WagWorks’ in-house vets place a strong emphasis on preventative and proactive care, working closely with members to support their dogs’ long-term health and happiness. With a dedicated on-site team, the vets have constant and unparalleled access to member dogs.
