Pooch and Mutt has announced its partnership with Woodgreen Pets Charity to rehome dogs this Valentine’s Day.
Woodgreen recognises that people form connections with dogs through their rehoming profiles. As a result, Pooch and Mutt has set up a photoshoot, aiming to fast-track adoptions for the charity’s deserving dogs.
Alongside the photoshoot, Pooch and Mutt is also providing monthly supplies of food and treats for the dogs under Woodgreen’s care.
Additionally, it is offering samples for the dogs to take home, ensuring a “smooth transition” with the same nourishing food they’ve been accustomed to in the rehoming centre.
To support owners in maintaining a healthy diet for their dogs throughout their lives, Pooch and Mutt is also providing a lifetime discount on subscriptions.
Woodgreen, the charity based in Cambridgeshire, and the location of Channel 4’s ‘The Dog House’, has been helping pets and their people for almost 100 years. Offering free behavioural advice, financial support to cover the cost of pet care and more, Woodgreen aims to keep pets in loving homes wherever possible.
Emma Frain, head of brand at Pooch and Mutt, said: “We are extremely passionate about continuing our partnership with Woodgreen and feel honoured to support the specialist care they offer to hundreds of less fortunate dogs each year.
“Ensuring dogs lead healthy, fulfilling lives aligns perfectly with our mission, making this collaboration incredibly meaningful to us. Just like them, we prioritise what’s best for pets, people and the planet. We look forward to contributing to the charity’s efforts and the well-being of the dogs in their care, with the photoshoot serving as one exciting avenue to achieve this goal.”
Lou McCourt, senior corporate partnerships manager at Woodgreen, added: “Woodgreen works tirelessly to provide a safe space, specialist care, and a brighter future for thousands of dogs, cats and small pets.
“Not only are we a haven for homeless pets, but we’re also here to support owners in need of help. Operating without government funding, our work is only possible through the generosity of supporters and partners like Pooch & Mutt. We’re excited to see if this photoshoot will lead to any of the dogs finding their forever homes.”
