Fish-based pet food supplies, Fish4Pets, has announced that CEO Graham Smith has retired and Sarah Fowler has taken over his role from 1 March.

Fowler has previously worked as commercial director with Vital Pet Products, and joined Fish4Pets five years ago as sales director.

In addition to Fowler’s promotion, Simon Nagle has also been appointed as chief commercial officer and will continue supporting worldwide sales development.

Smith will remain in the company supporting Fowler, managing specific regions, and maintaining his position as a statutory director in the company’s supervisory board until his retirement.

Established in 2004, the Worcestershire-based pet food supplier has seen impressive year-on-year growth and overseas exports since Smith’s appointment as CEO in 2010.

More recently, thanks to major investments from new investors, DSD, and existing shareholder FKRA in Norway, the UK-based organisation opened a state-of-art warehouse and office facility in 2022 and has made 23 new hires in various strategic roles support the company’s future growth plans.

Currently the pet food company employs 70 people and exports its sustainable fish products to 34 countries worldwide.
