The Pet Industry Federation (PIF) has announced the appointment of Bruce Casalis as its new chair following a recent board meeting.

Casalis is the founder of Bruce’s Doggy Daycare and has been a PIF board director since 2018.

He began a two year term as chair in January 2023. Details of PIF’s 2023 schedule will be released in due course.

PIF CEO Nigel Baker said: “We are delighted to have secured someone of Bruce’s calibre to Chair PIF. There are a lot of exciting developments in the pipeline for PIF members this year and we very much look forward to working with Bruce to help bring these to fruition.”

Casalis added: “I am excited to be taking on the Chair role in PIF’s 75th year and am
looking forward to using my experience and passion to help the Federation grow and become an even more effective ambassador for the pet industry.”

PIF is the leading trade association in the sector and has over 2000 members from small, medium and multinational businesses.
