Burns Pet Nutrition has revealed it is set to launch a new national TV and digital advertising campaign, across Sky and ITV.

The campaign will air during ITV’s The Pet Show, hosted by Dermot O’Leary and Joanna Page.

The initiative is being launched to help educate new dog owners about the central role nutrition plays in the overall health of dogs as well as to drive footfall into pet food stores.

Burns Pet Nutrition founder, John Burns, said: “The pandemic has seen a record number of dogs in homes across the UK and brought about a whole new generation of dog owners. With so many people owning dogs for the first time, we want to make sure they feel confident about keeping them fit and healthy.

“Pet stores have been the backbone of the Burns business for almost 30 years. They play a crucial role in supporting the health and wellbeing of dogs. The last 18 months have been incredibly challenging for physical retail. We want this campaign to drive people back through their doors.”
