The Pet Industry Federation (PIF) has announced that the stars of the new BBC television show, Pooch Perfect, will join a live discussion panel webinar taking place at Virtual Petindex on 17 March at 1pm.

Entitled ‘The Impact of TV Programmes on the Pet Grooming Sector’, the roundtable will feature judges and advisors from the TV programme, which is currently airing on BBC1.

According to the PIF, the discussion will set out to investigate how the public perception of dog grooming has changed as a result of the show.

Participants will include:

  • Stuart Simons, chair (grooming advisor on Pooch Perfect)
  • Verity Hardcastle (judge on Pooch Perfect)
  • Colin Taylor (judge on Pooch Perfect)
  • Jody Gordon (animal welfare advisor on Pooch Perfect)

The discussion panel is one of four live roundtable webinars taking place between 16-17 March as part of the Virtual Petindex show. The PIF is now inviting members of the pet industry to register and in order to view the discussions when they go live.

The webinars are all free to attend, though registration is required in advance in order for visitors to receive login details to access the online show.
