IVC Evidensia has revealed that its growth has been bolstered by recent and increased investment from new and existing companies.

Its majority shareholder, EQT, has pledged its continued investment in the company, while Silver Lake, a leading global technology investment firm, is making a new “substantial” minority investment to help unlock and accelerate growth from digital and technology opportunities.

In addition, Nestle Purina is also increasing its minority stake to reportedly “improve and deliver advanced pet food solutions and first-class pet care services”.

Stephen Clarke, CEO, said: “This is a great expression of confidence in the company and our staff should be proud of what we have collectively achieved. We need to continue to do what we do best: caring for animals, people and the environment, and leading the way in bringing new standards of animal care and staff wellbeing to the sector globally.

“This additional investment will support us in continuing to deliver exceptional care to our 4 million pets and their owners across the 12 countries we already operate in.”

IVC Evidensia is a veterinary care provider in Europe which is based across 12 countries.
