Witnesses are being asked to step forward following a suspicious fire and burglary of a garden centre in New Romney.

Police are looking to speak to anyone who may have CCTV covering Cockreed Lane or nearby roads.

A spokesperson from Kent Police, told Kentnews: “The fire to a greenhouse was reported at about 2.40am on Saturday 9 July, after which point it was reported that a number of other buildings had been broken into and petrol gardening equipment stolen from within.

“A vehicle is believed to have been used in the incident.”
