Good Vet & Pet Guide names Business of The Year 2017

Midlands based home boarding franchise PetStay Derby has won the Good Vet & Pet Guide’s ‘Business of The Year 2017’ award.

Sponsored by raw food manufacturer Natural Instinct, the award is presented to the business with the highest number of five star user reviews received from pet owners on The Good Vet & Pet Guide throughout last year (www.goodvetandpetguide.com).

PetStay also won ‘Franchise of The Year’ as its members won seven out of 12 monthly awards in 2016.

Sarah Deadman, CEO of The Good Vet & Pet Guide said: “We are absolutely thrilled that PetStay Derby has won this award. They embody everything that is great about the pet industry – hard work, a genuine love for animals and an unswerving commitment to delivering outstanding care for their clients’ dogs.’

Chris Sutton, who runs the franchise with his husband Mark Skorupa said: “Thank you to all our wonderful customers who took the time to write us a review and score us five out of five. It means the world to us and we’re so very grateful.’

Franchise of The Year

PetStay also was also rewarded by winning ‘Franchise of The Year’. Carole Davey of PetStay HQ said: “PetStay are very proud to have won ‘The Good Vet and Pet Guide Franchise of the Year’.

“When we heard we were delighted to have won this esteemed award from a company who like us, pride themselves on providing a first class service to both dog and pet lovers. So to hear PetStay Derby had won Pet Business of the Year we were incredibly pleased. They have worked so hard to create a service that customers know and love.”

The monthly and annual awards are sponsored by Surrey-based raw food manufacturer Natural Instinct. Each month, Natural Instinct gives a prize to the winning business. Acting managing director Michelle Machin-Jeffries said: “We are delighted to be the sponsors of this award. We would like to congratulate all the companies who have participated throughout the year and especially PetStay Derby on their success.”
