A share transfer transaction on November 4 saw Sharples ‘n’ Grant returning to a privately owned UK business.

In 2012, European entity Karlie Group GmbH acquired a majority stake in Sharples & Grant Ltd.  The past few years have been a challenging period for the Karlie Group of companies and a restructure of the Group is now necessary.

As of November 4 2016, all shareholding in Sharples & Grant Ltd that was acquired by Karlie Group GmbH have been transferred. To this end, Sharples & Grant Ltd are no longer part of the Karlie Group.

In a statement, Bryan Sharples says “We are looking forward to the opportunity of re-establishing a great company with a great history.  We have the team in place to drive forwards and a secure strategy for the future, we are now moving forwards with great enthusiasm”.
