Surrey-based dog crèche business, Bruce’s Doggy Day Care, has won a leading pet industry national award.

The small business collected the top prize in the Pet Services Dog Day Care & Boarding category at the Pet Industry Federation Awards on 1 November.

Competition was stiff, with just six businesses making the day care and boarding finalist shortlist, of which Bruce’s Doggy Day Care was the eventual winner.

Bruce Casalis, managing director, Bruce’s Doggy Day Care, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have won. These prestigious awards highlight all that is great about the pet profession in the UK.

“Reaching the finals and then winning is great recognition for the whole Bruce’s Doggy Day Care team who work very hard to provide an excellent service.

“Our thanks go out to all our human and canine customers for helping us become a national award-winning doggy day care business; we couldn’t have done it without them.”
