Police are investigating a report of a number of dogs being stolen from a property in Middle Rasen, Lincolnshire.

It is believed that sometime between 10pm and 8am on Wednesday 23rd September, unknown offenders forced entry to the premises on Gainsborough Road and stole at least 20 dogs.

All of the dogs are King Charles Cavaliers and all aged between one and six. Three are female and the rest are male.

A number of enquiries are being made in relation to the theft and investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything in relation to the incident, or anyone who may have been offered any of the dogs for sale.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 58 of 23/09/2015. Alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
