Is your dog sitting next to your desk? Perhaps your morning meeting included a faithful pet? June 26 has been named Bring Your Dog to Work Day.

The national event is the second of its kind and has been organised by pet product supplier HOWND®. In 2014 over 1,000 people took part and the special day has been featured in The Daily Mirror and on ITV’s This Morning programme.

This year’s Bring Your Dog to Work Day will be raising money for All Dogs Matter, a charity that rehomes hundreds of dogs every year in London and Norfolk. To find out more visit the official website.

In a survey of 1000 dog owners, Barking Heads pet food found that one in four of those polled already took their dog to work.

Three quarters of the lucky pets had their own space or bed and two thirds of office-based dogs were allowed to roam freely. One in four dog owning employees even admitted bring their dog to external meetings.
