Pet first aid training course launchesWallace Cameron Training Division has announced the launch of its new pet first aid training course.

Going national on 12 April, the new course will enable dog owners, groomers, trainers, sitters and walkers to gain the knowledge needed to recognise and deal with pet emergencies.

The course will cover a range of topics, from wounds and bleeding to unconsciousness and CPR.

John Wakely MRCVS, a veterinary surgeon who worked closely with Wallace Cameron to create the course, said: “Accidents and emergencies involving dogs are distressing to both patient and owner. This course has been carefully formulated to give owners more confidence that they will know what to do if the worst happens. We are sure that both novice and experienced owners will benefit.”
