Lintbells marketing executive Anna Prest has been named Young Marketeer of 2012 at the Veterinary Marketing Association Awards.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nPrest, who has been with the company for less than one year, was nominated for the prize for her part in numerous marketing activities.\r\nThe Young Marketeer award is open to marketing personnel under the age of 30 across the animal health sector. Co-founder and MD of Lintbells Dr John Howie, who nominated Prest for the award, said: \u201cI believe Anna has the potential to develop extensively to become one of the leading marketeers in the industry. She has moved into an environment where she has had to manage every aspect of the marketing mix in numerous channels, many of which Anna has not worked in before.\r\n\u201cShe has been very quick to learn and adapt to the intricacies of each market, managing numerous campaigns in parallel and yet has excelled in each.\u201d\r\nFor winning the award, 29-year-old Prest received a \u00a32,000 bursary towards further training and development. She remarked: \u201cI\u2019m absolutely thrilled to have won this award, especially as I was nominated after just seven months at Lintbells. I look forward to using the bursary to increase my marketing knowledge, to allow me to really put the company on the map.\u201d\r\nLintbells itself was recently awarded when it was named Small Business of the Year at the 2012 Hertfordshire Business Awards.
