Dorwest Herbs launches fireworks campaignWith firework season looming, Dorwest Herbs has unveiled a new campaign to engage with pet owners and give them the facts about pet noise phobia.

Merlin, the dog on Dorwest’s logo, has been brought to life in a cartoon that details events in his life leading up to Bonfire Night. Merlin becomes smitten with Lola, the Maltese Terrier next door, and in order to win her affections has to overcome his fireworks fear.

Dorwest’s aim is to spread the message that one of the most anxiety-inducing events on the calendar for pets can be approached in a relaxed frame of mind if the right precautions are taken.

Established for over 60 years, Dorwest Herbs has taken to social media to spread the campaign. Fans of Dorwest on Facebook could win a pet-friendly break at a boutique inn by entering the company’s ‘Dorwest Says Relax’ competition to find the nation’s calmest pet, while Merlin can be seen come to life at www.merlintakescontrol.wordpress.com
