Garden retailers, garden designers, landscapers and builders\u2019 merchants looking to build their\u00a0business will be heading to Glee 2016 on September 12-14 at NEC Birmingham.\n\nWith just a few weeks to go until the doors open on the 2016 show i2i\u2019s Matthew Mein, event director\u00a0at Glee, shares further details on what can be expected at this year\u2019s show and beyond.\n\nGlee\u2019s event director Matthew Mein said: \u201cIn the last few years Glee benefited from a number of\u00a0changes which helped to create a refreshed and revitalised show for both exhibitors and retailers.\u00a0This year we have focussed on making changes to Glee\u2019s format, making it even more reflective of\u00a0the modern garden retail environment.\n\n"This change is best showcased in the rebranding of three of\u00a0our core show sectors. Whilst the show itself will look the same, the focus within this sectors will be\u00a0much more targeted and key trends from each will take centre stage within the show\u2019s wider content.\u201d\n\nOutdoor Entertaining is the new home of garden leisure products. A new approach to this sector\u00a0will focus largely on the move from \u2018outdoor living\u2019 to our garden spaces being an extension of our\u00a0homes, with gardens taking centre stage when it comes to entertaining space.\n\nGlee Garden Design & Landscaping has entered a new chapter in 2016 under the banner of\u00a0Landscaping and Garden Decoration.\n\nFinally, Retail Experiences and Services will replace the area previously known as Retail Services.\n\nVisitors to Glee 2016 will also notice that Home DIY and Water Gardening will also be better\u00a0represented at the show.\n\nMatthew Mein added: \u201cThe success of Glee lies in its ability to provide a platform for future growth,\u00a0and this includes diversifying through new product categories. In the case of both water gardening\u00a0and home DIY, both are showing increased coverage within garden retailing and consumer demand\u00a0is increasing also.\u201d\n\nGlee 2016 takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, from September 12-14 and\u00a0opens between 9.00am and 6:00pm (Monday and\u00a0Tuesday) and 4:00pm (Wednesday).
