Pet food manufacturer Scrumbles has been awarded best new startup by the Croydon Business Excellence Awards.

The company claims to be the first all-natural cat and dog food putting gut health at the forefront.  Scrumbles were recognised for having “quickly established in a highly competitive market whilst achieving high environmental and social standards.”

Co-founder, Anesha Soobroyen said: “We’re proud to represent Croydon. There are lots of exciting start-ups challenging the norm and we’re honoured to be recognised among them.”

“We’re still early days but determined to keep raising the bar on ethics in the industry and delivering food that’s good inside out. We’re continually learning and evolving taking on board our shoppers and retailer feedback, with lots of exciting things in the pipeline.”
