Estate agency Sellhousefast.uk has revealed the least and most pet-friendly London boroughs.
The research was made by extracting data from Zoopla during the month on September 2019, to see how many properties (houses and flats) allow tenants to have pets.
Furthermore, the firm had a look at the percentage of pets owned by UK households to see what the most popular pets of the country are in 2019, by extracting data from Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association (PFMA).
The London boroughs which are less pet-friendly are:
- Waltham Forest
- Barking and Dagenham
- City of London
- Kingston upon Thames
- Havering
The top five most pet-friendly London boroughs are:
- Kensington and Chelsea
- Westminster
- Tower Hamlets
- Camden
- Wandsworth
A statement by Sellhousefast.uk read: “Interestingly, the number of pet-friendly properties to rent in London has decreased by 122 compared to last year, showing that landlords are perhaps becoming less accepting of pets.”
