Pets at Home has added fresh dog food brand Years to its national retail network to expand its specialist nutrition offering.
The product launch follows a growing retail trend where pet owners seek the same quality and raw ingredient standards they expect in human food. The Nottinghamshire-based brand will supply a range of meals, broths, toppers, and treats designed to support everyday animal health.
The products are gently steamed to retain nutrients and moisture. Unlike alternative fresh feeding products, the range is shelf-stable and can be stored in cupboards for up to 12 months, or kept in a refrigerator for up to seven days once opened.
The product line offers pet owners the flexibility to utilize the meals as a complete diet or as an addition to existing feeding routines.
Senior buyer at Pets at Home Jen Stevenson said: “Through our partnership with Years, we’re responding to a clear change in how people approach feeding their pets, with more owners seeking food that reflects the same quality and variety they choose for themselves. This latest launch offers customers an exciting and convenient way to discover more natural, recognisable nutrition, and our knowledgeable store colleagues are on hand to offer guidance on the best option for their individual pet’s needs.”
Founder of Years Darren Beale added: “We’re incredibly proud to be available in Pets at Home stores nationwide. Years was built on the belief that dogs deserve real food made with wholesome ingredients and proper care, without making life more complicated for the people feeding them. This launch gives Pets at Home customers a truly accessible fresh food option that is simple to buy, store and feed.”
